Editing an Existing Database

If your database has been moved/altered or you are experiencing difficulty logging in, use this procedure to test or change your current database settings.

1. On the Login screen, click Options and then select the database that you want to edit or test.
2. Click Edit.
   The database connection wizard will open at step 1, with Edit Existing Database automatically selected.
3. Click Next.
   The database server type is automatically displayed.
4. Select a different type, if necessary, and then click Next.
5. At this point the type of server selected at step 4 will determine the fields available. You will now be required to locate and test the database. Choose one of the following options:
   • Editing a Firebird or Interbase database.
   • Editing an SQL database
